EA SPORTS (PLATAFORMA DE TORNEOS FIFA) marketing

EA Sports and Blockbuster needed a promotion to boost FIFA (soccer) game sales in stores, increasing pre-orders one month before launch.

The proposal was to host a national FIFA tournament exclusively for those who pre-ordered the new FIFA game. Upon purchasing the game in-store, customers received a unique registration code on their receipt. This code allowed them to register, participate in the tournament, play matches, and track their statistics.
